The NCSSA Hall Of Fame Committee is honored to announce inductee, Jay Bunting, into the North Carolina Skeet Shooting Hall Of Fame.
Jay started his shooting career in 1970 and continues to shoot today. He has shot in more than 15 State shoots and attended the world shoot from 1988 to 1994. Jay started shooting at a very young age, which led to his shooting registered targets at age 12. He attained AA classification by age 14 and winning his home club's yearly championship. His love of the shooting sports led to a job working for Remington Arms. Not only has Jay competed at the highest levels in skeet competitions across multiple states and zones. Jay is the epitome of excellence with his shooting accomplishments. He has won multiple North Carolina State Championships and been selected for numerous NC State teams. Jay continues shooting at a high level today, achieving the NSSA High Average Leader in 2015 with a yearly average of .9955 in the 20 gauge.
