Tiner Headed to the NSSA Hall of Fame!

NCSSA Hall of Famer Jim Tiner will add another Hall of Fame to his list of skeet shooting accolades this week in San Antonio, Tex.

Tiner, a past president and current delegate, will be named the Ray Boller Award recipient during an induction ceremony Oct. 5 as part of this year’s World Skeet Championships.

The Ray Boller Award represents an induction to the Hall of Fame based on Sustaining Contributions to the sport of skeet shooting.

Jim Tiner will be inducted into the National Skeet Shooters Association Hall of Fame on Oct. 5, 2023 in San Antonio, Tex.

Tiner, along with wife Belinda, have long supported the growth of skeet shooting - particularly youth shooting in North Carolina and beyond.

The NCSSA extends its congratulations to Jim (and Belinda) on receiving this prestigious, and well-deserved honor.

About the NSSA Hall of Fame: Induction into the NSSA Hall of Fame is the highest honor any skeet shooter can receive from the association, as it is recognition from their peers of the member’s achievements. The NSSA Hall of Fame Committee, appointed by the NSSA Executive Committee, is charged to annually nominate those individuals deemed worthy of consideration for induction into the NSSA Hall of Fame. Those considered will come from submissions by the NSSA membership and the NSSA Hall of Fame Committee. Any member in good standing with the NSSA may submit a candidate for consideration by the NSSA Hall of Fame Committee subject to their meeting the minimum criteria as shown below.
