Stuart Brown

The NCSSA Hall Of Fame Committee is honored to announce inductee, Stuart Brown, into the North Carolina Skeet Shooting Hall Of Fame.

 It's fair to say that North Carolina skeet shooting would not be what it is today without the leadership and efforts of Stuart Brown. Stuart's many achievements on the field are matched by his skeet-related activities off the field. We are all aware that he has provided dedicated support for target machine maintenance at Ft Bragg Fun Club local shoots, NC State shoots, Zone shoots, and the Masters. Additionally, Stuart has provided active volunteer support towards SJAFB Gun Club since 1992. There he directs and organizes the base skeet leagues and squadron or base events, he maintains target machine and fields, he provides volunteer instructional support for new active or retired military shooters, and he coaches local boy scouts. Stuart is also a mentor to many NC youth shooters ranging from amateur to advanced, including Katie Reynolds, Josh Goodnight, Josh Burris, and Dustan Taylor. He has also supported the USAF American Skeet Team from 1997 to 2008 as Team 1 Squad leader, Captain, Coach, and advisor.
